Portrait Location Suggestions

At Photography by Golota we prefer to take "natural setting" portraits.  A portrait can be taken just about anywhere you choose.  Some of the locations for our portraits images include: Scusset Beach, Sandwich; Dowses Beach, Centerville; Fort Phoenix, Fairhaven; Borderland State Park, Easton; Library Park, Norton; Wheaton College, Norton; and many other locations. They can even be taken in your own backyard or home.

The best light for a casual portrait composition in the sun is the early part of the morning or late afternoon.  This means before 9:00am and after 4:30pm in the summer months.  In the fall, the end of day times change to between 3:00pm and 5:00pm as the days get shorter.

Images can also be taken throughout the day depending upon where you choose to have your images created.
